About the Author
A former army officer, Dr Deane-Peter Baker specializes in military ethics and also teaches and writes on strategic studies and public policy. Now a Senior Lecturer at UNSW Canberra at the Australian Defence Force Academy, Dr Baker taught previously at the US Naval Academy and has held Visiting Fellowships at the US War College and the Triangle Institute for Security Studies (Duke University).

Excellent book! I took "Military Ethics" with Doctor Baker, and much of what was covered in the course is also detailed in the book. If you are taking Baker's Military Ethics course, do get the book, it dovetails well with the course. If you aren't planning on taking the University course, but are interested in military ethics, Baker's book is a fine stand-alone.
